I bought this MK3 Golf GTi 8v in 2007 whilst my MK4 Polo was off the road due to accident damage. Bought it from a guy in Kircaldy for £650 and sold it for £950, with the only bit of work being done was a replacement rear wheel bearing.

If memory serves it had around 170,000 miles on the clock, but drove like it had half that.
